Mrinalini Tyagi always wanted to become a model. But her family wanted her to complete her education first. So, she did her MBA in Human Resource and moved to Mumbai to pursue her dream as a career.

In 2007, she participated in the Femina Miss India contest and was one of the finalists.

Later in 2009, Mrinalini Tyagi appeared in the MTV reality show ‘Fast and the Gorgeous’, as a contestant.

She played the role of Arjun’s sister Raashi Singhania in the TV serial Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2.
